Description :
Le STALKER mod propose un changement de gamplay et d'arsenal, les infectés normaux sont supprimés et sont remplacés par les "Stalkers" qui sont en fait des infectés spéciaux invisibles, assez proche de l'effet visuel (ou pas) du mode Source très connu The Hidden. Coté survivant il y a aussi un gros changement avec l'apparition d'un nouveau modèle d'arme et nouveaux sons customs très réussis, et à noter que ce nouveau jouet est doté d'un "switch mode" c'est à dire 2 modes de tir distincts.

* No common infected
* No survivor bots
* No specials infected, apart from the 'STALKERS'
* 3 types of 'STALKER' : Male Stalker, Female Stalker and the elusive Daddy Stalker
* Stalkers are semi-transparent which makes spotting them a challenge, listen out for the beeps of you motion tracker
* Male Stalker : Always moving and trying to outwit the survivors, they often attack in packs. Will use pounce attack
* Female Stalker : Lurking around the levels these deadly stalkers will charge the survivors immediately if they are seen. They have a fatal attack and can be identified by their glowing eyes
* Daddy Stalker : The most resilient of the stalkers and also very powerful. Be wary of the other stalkers in the area when focusing on taking down the daddy
* Custom Stalker spawn rotation script - no longer uses director. This gives a much more intense experience
* Survivors are slower, direction dependant
* New weapon : The Pulse rifle
* New weapon sounds
* Standard L4D weapons unusable
* Pulse rifle has 2 fire modes (activated by switching weapon) : 10mm automatic rounds and 30mm grenade / pump shotgun
* Unlimited ammo, but still requires reloads (99x10mm rounds, 4x30mm rounds)
* Melee swing much less effective with decreased range
* No item / survivor glows
* Reduced UI, displays only local health (as in my other mods)
* Faked Motion tracker to give a rough position and distance of the 'stalkers' - beeps get louder and faster when they are close
* No music
* Crosshair tweaked
* Friendly fire increased significantly - a burst from the rifle can incapacitate a survivor. This is quite a fun feature during the panic moments, I've seen a whole team decimated by uncontrolled firing.
* Pulse rifle can be fired whilst incapacitated - only 10mm rounds and with reduced accuracy
* First aid kit use time greatly reduced
* Revive incapacitated time greatly reduced - allows 'combat res'
* Custom Menu background movie with sound
* And loads of other smaller tweaks......
